Matcha is an arts and culture mixer presented by the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco, where visitors can enjoy special performances, workshops, and talks at the museum after hours. In 2009, they put out a call for a new identity that would embody this culturally rich and lively event.

The abstract image, reminiscent of swirling a cup of tea, is centered around the idea of sharing conversations over drinks. My proposal was enthusiastically received and eventually chosen as the winner.
